Happy First Day of Summer!

Yeah! It is the first day summer and it is the longest day of the summer! I love the summer weather! I love the feeling of not having to be all bundled up and not always feeling cold. I am a small person and when it is cold, my bones just aches. Summer weather allows me to break out all of my fancy summer shoes and pretty dresses. This weather makes you want to hang out in the dark all night and just enjoy the warm air.

Emelci's Pre Quinceanera Photo Session

I've known Emelci since she was 5 years old. I can't believe how time just fly by and they grow up so fast. She has blossomed into a very beautiful young lady. Her Quinceanera is in August and it is suppose to be an elaborate Soiree with all of her close friends and families. It is amazing to see how much time and money is spend planning this event. I was just in awe when I saw her dress. It looked so beautiful on her. Here some photos of her.

Bianca & Andrew's Wedding

I had such a great time being a second shooter with Jillian Kay. I learned so much from her.

Bianca and Andrew were so adorable. They are absolutely very much in love. They got married in a quaint little church in Sunol and the reception was held at Ardenwood Farms in Fremont. It was perfectly laid out with lot of green, secret path ways and there was a gorgeous mansion in the middle of the farm. It was a perfect spot for a great outdoor wedding.

Here are couple of pictures from the wedding.

Logan

Logan is turning 9 years old in a couple of weeks and I have to get his birthday invitation out soon. Every year I take pictures of both of my kids, so I can see how much they have change every year.

I have to admit he is a good looking kid. I hope I don't sound too bias. Right now Logan is the cool kid in school and everyone knows him. It is funny that he reminds me to highlight his hair when it grows out. He has to make sure he looks good all the time. Yep! That is my son, High maintaince! It is amazing how fast they grow up and someday they are going to be all grown up.

Amber & Jacob's Wedding

We headed to the Oakland Temple on a foggy Saturday morning and as we drove into the parking lot, we were in awe at the beauty of the temple. It is a beautiful location with an amazing view of the city. I was really nervous having never before met Amber & Jacob in person . This being our first Mormon wedding we went in the visitors center to get a feel for the place and find out any area that might be off limits. As non members we were not allowed into the temple, so we cuddled outside until they came out. There were at least 20 weddings performed that day. I kept seeing brides and grooms coming out of the temple and I was so scared that I was going to miss my bride and groom. Ryan and I walked up to a couple of different parties and asked if they were there for Amber and Jacob's wedding. But to my surprise, Amber's dad approached us and boy, was I relieved.

Ryan and I had such a great time. We felt so welcomed and the family were so nice. I am glad that I had a chance to meet Amber and Jacob. I always felt that Mormon religion was so different from my own religion. When I think about it. We both believe in the same God. Marriage is a sacred union between two people and I can see that they carry this commitment very highly. It was wonderful to see the family value and emphasis the combined families had!

Thank you Amber & Jacob for giving us this wonderful experience! :)

Lastly, I want to thank my husband for coming along and being my second shooter. I had an amazing day with you and your work rocks!

Yea! I got my Camera

I was so excited I got my Canon 5D before my upcomming wedding this Saturday. I was starting to sweat a little because I was afraid it wasn't going to get in time. I am very blessed to have such wonderful sisters. My younger sister has been great. She lent me the money to buy the 5D. I have been eyeing this camera for a year and now I finally have it in my hand. I love it! It is such a sweet camera and it takes amazing pictures. I can not wait to start taking pictures. Thank you Mopo for lending me the money and being very supportive. You are the best and I appreciate you!
