Total Dorkness

Okay! For those of you that know I also work another full time job with City of San Jose, Housing Department. All though, I love the people I work with, I would rather work full time as a photographer and do what I love to do. Anyways on a side note!!!

So yesterday, I noticed a crew of camera crews, trailers and a lot of trucks park down stair near City Hall. I couldn't figure out what all of the commotion was about, when one of my co-worker pointed out to me that they were filming a Bollywood movie. I've grown up watching Bollywood and I was excited to meet this actor that everyone was talking about. So I ran down stairs with a couple of my friends with my camera in hand and squealing out load like a little school girls when New Kids on the Block hit the road. We followed him to his trailer and my friend Michelle was brave enough to knock on the trailer door and ask if we can take some pictures with him. He was kind enough to come out and spend a little bit of time having his pictures taken with us. Call me the biggest dork but it sure made my day. Meet me and Saif Ali Khan.

Little T

My little girl is turning 5 years old in a couple of weeks and she will be starting Kindergarden soon. She is so excited that she wanted to put her school clothes on and do a little photo session for me. She is so cute and I can't believe that she is growing up so fast. I had to bribe her a little bit!

Happy Holloween!

Growing up in such a shelter Christian home, Halloween was a holiday that we didn't celebrate because we were taught that it was evil. Sure, the idea of going trick or treating and getting free candy would be a neat idea. I think I am a little old for that. I just love to watch my kids run to each house with their face all lite up with excitement.

Happy Holloween to you all!!!

Tehya's 4th Birthday

Today is my baby girl's 4th birthday party! She is the love of my life and I just adore her. She is such a free spirited fun loving little girl. I can't believe that she is turning four because she is such a petite little girl. My little girl is growing up and I love watching her grow into such a wonderful and caring person. Here are some pictures of her.

Logan

Logan is turning 9 years old in a couple of weeks and I have to get his birthday invitation out soon. Every year I take pictures of both of my kids, so I can see how much they have change every year.

I have to admit he is a good looking kid. I hope I don't sound too bias. Right now Logan is the cool kid in school and everyone knows him. It is funny that he reminds me to highlight his hair when it grows out. He has to make sure he looks good all the time. Yep! That is my son, High maintaince! It is amazing how fast they grow up and someday they are going to be all grown up.

Happy Mother's Day

Sunday morning I woke with Ryan asking me if I want McDonalds for breakfast, but to my surprise my wonderful son came in with a bowl of cereal and juice in his hands. I was so surprised and it really made my day. I am really blessed to have such a great family and I would never trade this in for anything. Later in the afternoon we headed over to a friend's house and hung out there with all of the other moms. It was such a nice day to spend at Discovery Bay. I wanted to give a BIG shout to all of the moms out there. HAPPY MOTHER'S Day!!!!

Our 9th Year Anniversary

March 7th was our 9th year anniversary. Ryan and I had talked about what we wanted to do on our 9th year anniversary and we both agreed not to get each other anything. I had mentioned to him early in the week that I wanted to go see the movie 300. A couple of days later, he told me that he had already found a baby sitter and we were going to go out to dinner that night. But that plan was a wash because 300 hundred wasn't playing until Friday. So instead he said he was going to make dinner and just have a quit evening with our kids. What a sweetheart that he had already planned everything. For those of you that know me. I like to plan for every event. It drives me crazy to go over a friends house and there is nothing to eat and a plan was not thought of.

Of course to my surprise, Ryan showed up at my office with 2 dozen long stem, red roses and he told me that he was going to make dinner. When I got home, I was able to take a nap and just relax a little bit. When I woke up, Ryan surprised me with my favorite dessert. He went and picked up tiramisu from Maggiano's and Lambrusco chilled red wine. I was so surprised that he went all out and got all of my favorites. He really made my day special and I am so lucky to have him for a husband. Happy anniversary sweetheart!!! I love you!!!!

Maggiano's has the best Tiramisu. I am not much of a dessert person but this is the BOMB!

I am much of an alcohol consumer but this is the good stuff.

Little Sammy & Taylor

On Sunday we meet up with a couple of friends at Fantastic Cafe. I thought the food was alright. I don't think it beats In N Out. I love Southern California because there are so many choices of where you can eat. If any of you know me. I love to eat!

After lunch we went across the street and took some pictures of our friends kids. Sammy is two and Taylor just turned one. They are amazingly beautiful and such happy kids. Sammy just loves to hang out with Tehya and they both look so cute together.

Taylor
Little Sammy (named after his dad)

What a happy little boy.

They both have the biggest bright blue eyes.

My Ring

I had a lunch date with a couple of friends on Friday and a friend pointed out the missing stone on my ring. My heart sank when I saw the gap of where the missing stone should have been. I couldn't eat because I was consumed by the thought that I had lost the stone. I went back to the office, I tried to re trace my steps , keeping my head down and hoping it would be on the ground somewhere. God was watching out for me because when I got back to my desk, it was on the floor right next to my seat! What started out as a bad day, was a day of celebration. I was jumping up and down like a little girl in a candy store. I took the ring into the jewlery shop that day and made sure it was carefully checked, polished and shined.

Today, I went to pick up my ring and boy was I happy to have it back. My finger felt as naked as a baby's bottom without it. I was eager to see how shiny it looked. It sure feels good to have home on my finger, where it belongs

The Peanut Shell

My friend Alicia asked if I would take pictures of her new line of The Peanut Shell slings. I had a great time hanging out and being silly. We were trying to be careful not to get kicked out of our location by the security guards. Santana Row is an outside mall and there is a spot that has some beautifuly colored rustic doors. Trying not to be too conspicuous, I would hide my camera whenever I saw a security guard . Yeah it was wrong, but I figured we were no where near any of the stores. I am glad we didn't get harassed by anyone. How the Peanut Shell was born? It's a creation that was developed by a husband and wife who liked the idea of a complication free baby carrier. The name came from their baby's nick name "Peanut". The product is now sold nationwide to all moms that like the hip style. My three year daugther still loves it because she likes to be close to me. Check it out! It is a great product for new moms.
